The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 concluded in Dubai with a resounding success, drawing over 55,000 attendees from 166 countries—a 16% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from April 28 to May 1, the event showcased 2,800+ exhibitors, reinforcing ATM’s status as a global leader in tourism and travel networking.
A Global Stage for Tourism Innovation
Under the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” ATM 2025 focused on cross-border collaboration and sustainable industry growth. The exhibition drew dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who underscored the UAE’s leadership in global tourism advancement.
Regional & Sectoral Growth Across the Board
The event saw a 19% YoY increase in Middle East participation and notable growth from Asia (20%), Europe (17%), and Africa (21%). Key source markets included India, Türkiye, UK, Egypt, USA, and China. The ATM Travel Tech segment also boomed—expanding by 26%—highlighting the rising synergy between travel and digital innovation.
Hotel Industry & MICE Focus
The hotel sector grew by 12%, featuring all major international brands. A new highlight this year was IBTM@ATM, dedicated to business events and MICE tourism, drawing insights from global associations like ICCA, GBTA, and the World Energy Council.
Driving Future-Ready Tourism
With 70+ conference sessions and 200+ expert speakers, ATM 2025 offered deep dives into trends, tech, and tourism resilience. According to Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, “ATM continues to play a pivotal role in shaping a globally connected, inclusive, and sustainable tourism industry.”
